Texas ACC Conference Spotlights How AI is Expanding Access to Cardiac Imaging

BOSTON, MA, UNITED STATES, October 31, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- UltraSight™, an AI Company focused on improving productivity and throughput in cardiac imaging workflows, highlighted remarks from Jamie Moore, BSN, RN, AACC, Regional Director of Northeast Texas and NLA of Cardiovascular Services for CHRISTUS Health, who spoke at the Texas Chapter of the American College of Cardiology (TCACC) Annual Conference, which took place earlier in October in Houston, Texas.

Moore, a member of the TCACC and serves as the Chair of the CVT Team, was a speaker on the panel discussion “How Will AI Impact Providers in the Near Future.” “When AI supports novice users in cardiac imaging, it’s not just about technology, it’s about improving patient access to care,” said Jamie Moore, BSN, RN, AACC. “We’re giving more clinicians the ability to obtain immediate cardiac imaging at the patient’s side, reducing delays, allowing for rapid diagnosis and treatments which ultimately improves patient outcomes.

UltraSight’s Real-Time Guidance software is helping to address the growing demand for cardiac echo imaging by enabling APPs and non-sonographers to perform high-quality echocardiograms under AI direction. The result is a more flexible and resilient echo lab, one that can extend coverage to emergency departments, rural affiliates, and satellite clinics without compromising diagnostic quality.

The technology’s ability to standardize image acquisition, even across users with varying ultrasound experience, allows echo labs to focus sonographer time on advanced studies while expanding access to essential cardiac assessments for patients in urgent or underserved settings.

By empowering a broader range of clinicians to acquire diagnostic-quality cardiac images, UltraSight’s Real-Time Guidance software helps healthcare systems reduce workflow bottlenecks, accelerate patient throughput, and shorten the time from exam to diagnosis.

“Leaders like Jamie Moore demonstrate how AI can extend the reach of skilled cardiovascular teams while preserving accuracy and quality,” said Davidi Vortman, CEO at UltraSight. “Her leadership within the Texas ACC community reflects the real-world value of integrating AI into imaging workflows – supporting clinicians, improving operational capacity, and enhancing patient outcomes.”

The Texas ACC Annual Conference brings together cardiologists, nurses, and cardiovascular leaders from across the state to explore advances in digital health, innovation in clinical care, and the growing role of AI in cardiology.
