ThinkGizmos RoboShooter

ThinkGizmos, a UK-based manufacturer of innovatively designed toys, has recently launched its remote-control robot on Amazon UK.

HORSHAM, UNITED KINGDOM, November 29, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — ThinkGizmos is pleased to announce that its popular toy remote control robot is now available on Amazon UK. Appropriate for boys and girls above the age of five, this innovative toy comes with numerous attractive features. The brand reports that prior to its launch in the UK, this toy has been extremely successful in the U.S. and selected European markets.

According to the company, the RoboShooter allows children to record any message of their choice and speaks the same message at the press of a button. It also features soft foam disks that shoot out of the robot's chest on command. The robot can be controlled easily with its 2.4 GHz remote control that is equipped with dedicated buttons for different functions such as walking, sliding, dancing, firing its blaster, shooting disks and talking. The manufacturer mentions that this toy is the perfect gift for ages 5 to 8.

"Small foam disks are included with the toy robot, which load by lifting its head and inserting them in the provided chamber. Then, at a press of the disk button, the robot will fire the disks out of its chest," said a spokesperson from ThinkGizmos. "With the provided 2.4 GHz remote, children will have no trouble controlling the robot; the remote includes buttons for each of the functions with images on the buttons to show what each of them does. Also, the robot speaks in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish."

To ensure safety, the Disc Firing RC Robot Toy was manufactured using strong, safe and non-toxic ABS Plastic, the company says. In addition to the robot, each pack contains the remote control, six AA batteries and a detailed instruction manual for controlling the robot.

Recommending the product, an impressed buyer mentions, "This is a fab robot. I bought it for my 5-year-old son's birthday. It is easy to use and does everything you would expect, gun sounds in addition to the disc firing, dances, slides, walks and talks. I would recommend for the under 8's instead of the expensive robots that are too complicated for them to use on their own. My 8-year-old son loves it too."

Those interested in learning more about ThinkGizmos' RoboShooter should visit the company's official website or Amazon storefront.

OVER $9 MILLION IN ENERGY SAVINGS, ATLANTA AIRLINES TERMINAL COMPANY GIVES THE HOLIDAY GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING

Year-over-year energy savings are projected to increase by $3 million per year.

ATLANTA , GA , USA , November 29, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — [ATLANTA, Nov. 29, 2019] Not everyone gets an $9.4 million holiday present, but that’s just what the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will enjoy this year. Thanks to a partnership between Atlanta-based Energy One Consulting and the Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company, which operates Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, optimized energy usage has resulted in impressive savings for the 7.2-million-square-foot facility. In addition, the Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company (AATC) was the largest recipient of Georgia Power energy efficiency rebates for fiscal 2018, at about $971,500.

In particular, the energy upgrades include replacing 100,000 lights with LEDs, more than 2,000 HVAC system improvements, energy-efficient programming for more than 300 air handlers and chillers, and increased facility automation to reduce energy usage by 11 percent or 28 million kilowatt hours annually. This work has saved AATC more than $9.4 million since 2016 with annual energy savings exceeding $3 million.

“When we think about the holiday season, we often think about buying or giving. On the flip side, these savings for the airport will make a difference for travelers, employees and the environment for decades to come,” said Energy One President & CEO Mike Elmers. “We are creating a smarter, safer, more efficient travel and work experience through customized energy initiatives and I think that’s an incredible gift.”

In addition to the recipient of Georgia Power energy efficiency rebates for fiscal 2018, total rebates have nearly reached $1.5 million in the past three years, making AATC the largest rebate recipient for two years running. For its work on this initiative and other energy savings projects for the airport, Energy One was awarded the International Project of the Year by the Association of Energy Engineers.

“The end of the year is a great time to take stock of what we’ve accomplished and what our goals are for the future. We are incredibly proud of the strides we’ve made in saving energy and money for the world’s busiest airport and look forward to continued work with Energy One to enhance efficiencies, operations and performance,” said Dr. Kofi Smith, CEO and President, Atlanta Airlines Terminal Company. “From lighting to cooling to energy audits, this work is impactful and meaningful.”

Notably, the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport accounts for $64 billion total economic impact, with more than 100 million annual passengers and about 65,000 employees. Over seven concourses, the airport hosts about 2,700 daily flights. As a top Georgia Power customer, the airport and their partners have increased their focus on energy efficiency, sustainability and comfort for passengers and employees.

Atlanta-based Energy One Consulting <https://www.energyoneco.com/> specializes in helping large facilities lower their energy costs. Through energy mapping, procurement and loss analysis, solutions application, validation and sustainment; Energy One Consulting builds a sustainable energy roadmap for complex facilities, including major airports, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, and commercial and public buildings.

While cosmetic surgery can help you achieve dramatic improvements in your outer appearance even as you get older, you should not forget about “maintenance.”

If you start by making small changes, you won’t feel overwhelmed. You will immediately feel the change in your body, and including these tips in your regular routine will become quite easy.”

— Dr. Mitchell G. Cohen, cosmetic surgery, California

NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, November 29, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — Taking care of your body will improve your overall well-being and appearance, as well as the results of any Cosmetic surgery. As we age, there are limitations as to what Cosmetic surgery alone can do for you. You have to do your part, too, to look your best at any age. Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Mitchell G. Cohen explains in a new article. The complete article will be available on Dr. Cohen’s blog at https://mitchellcohenmd.fitness.blog/

Did you know that “September is Healthy Aging® Month?” The term was coined in by the company’s executive director and the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Carolyn Worthington. This event is now in its 2nd decade, and it is still going strong. Carolyn Worthington created this recurring event to tell the anybody above age 45 that there’s still time to change habits and take control of one’s health.

Aging has been long given a negative connotation. A few common “aging fears” are:

* Declining health
* Self image
* Running out of financial means
* Not being able to do certain tasks on their own such as drive or run errands like grocery shopping
* Death in the family
* Fear of falling
* Living alone
* Inability to manage daily living activities
* Isolation or loneliness
* Loss of independence
* Getting help from strangers

Think of healthy aging as a process that involves your body, mind, and soul. Following are five tips of healthy aging that you should follow to look and feel your best.

Active Lifestyle

Many people shy away from exercise. Sometimes, even a walk in the park appears to be a challenge. When we say “be active,” what we actually mean is any of your favorite physical activity such as walking, gardening, swimming, or yoga. As long as you are moving and remaining physically active, it will be counted as exercise.

Eat Right

Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits, decrease sodium intake, limit the intake of alcoholic drinks, consume small serving sizes, and eliminate processed foods from your diet. The more colorful your plate, the more energized you will feel throughout the day.

Prevention

Are you prone to tripping and falling? Aging brings about many problems such as frequent falls, failing eyesight, and forgetfulness. Along with regular medical checkups, make some changes in your house. Clear the rooms of excessive furniture and install handle bars to prevent falls.

Sleeping enough

Get at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep. Sleep deficiency may lead to problems in memory, immune system, and concentration. It can also cause Alzheimer’s disease according to the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation.

Stress Reduction

Identify your stress triggers and find ways to reduce them. Seek therapy if you cannot handle the pressure on your own. A few tricks that can help you reduce your stress levels include journaling, listening to music, and doing a favorite activity.

Adds Dr. Cohen, "If you start by making small changes, you won’t feel overwhelmed. You will immediately feel the change in your body, and including these tips in your regular routine will become quite easy."

Christmas Isn’t Always Ho Ho Ho | How To Support Someone Struggling This Christmas

Thoughtful Cards

Anikka Burton – Founder of Not Another Bunch Of Flowers

‘Living with cancer is hard,’ says Anikka. ‘It’s relentless, exhausting and emotional and people forget that treatment drags on and on and takes its toll'”

— Anikka Burton

HAYWARDS HEATH, UNITED KINGDOM, November 29, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ —

Christmas is an incredibly difficult time for some. Images of the ‘perfect Christmas’ are everywhere – adverts, magazines and all over social media – and can be a painful reminder of the restrictions either physically or emotionally that this time of year brings for some.

This is something Anikka, founder of Not Another Bunch Of Flowers knows only too well, having been treated for cancer over the Christmas period.

‘Living with cancer is hard,’ says Anikka. ‘It’s relentless, exhausting and emotional and people forget that treatment drags on and on and takes its toll. And when you are unwell during the Christmas festivities these feelings can be amplified. The days are shorter and the nights longer, colder and darker. Suddenly everyone is out and about having fun, going shopping and having parties. Social media is flooded with images of everything you are missing out on and you can end up feeling even more isolated. There is also that unspeakable question, could this be my last Christmas?’

But knowing that you are loved and supported can really help.

Anikka’s cancer diagnosis inspired her to set up Not Another Bunch Of Flowers – a gift site that specialises in thoughtful gifts and cards for people going through difficult times.

Anikka has provided some tips to help you buy a suitable and meaningful gift for someone struggling this Christmas, whether it is simply a difficult time of year having lost someone dear to them, if they are suffering from a serious illness, are going through a nasty divorce or are simply under the weather

Flowers
Flowers are lovely, but tend to be the first thing that people think of when someone is sick, so the result can often be an overwhelming number. Why not send a thoughtful gift that will stand out from all of the flowers and last longer?

Practical gifts are greatly appreciated…
A care package full of useful items is always a hit!

…as are little treats
Treats to lift the spirits will also go down well. We may spend more time cozied up at home as we recover from surgery, our latest treatment session or are feeling sad or depressed, so comforting, cosy or pampering gifts are much appreciated. Think pretty lounge-wear, cosy hot water bottles, a natural bath oil, magazines, blankets, comfy bed socks and candles.

Avoid anything too clinical
Some gifts might appear to be really useful such as a thermometer, or a giant size tub of E45, but gifts that are too clinical only act to reaffirm that we are unwell. Something to take our minds off this and make us feel more ‘normal’ is much more appreciated.

Be aware of ingredients
Some cancer patients, for example, are advised to or opt to avoid certain ingredients. They may choose to cut sugar and/or dairy out of their diet, meaning edible treats such as cakes, chocolates and candy may go to waste. Similarly with pampering treats, many cancer patients prefer more natural toiletries that don’t contain nasties such as parabens and SLS. They may also find strong fragrances nauseating and there are some essential oils that are best avoided during treatment. So if you are selecting some body and bath treats, natural and organic is probably best.

It is probably safer to avoid comedy gifts
OK, if you’re very close to your friend, and you know for sure that they will find the gift funny, then go for it – anything to cheer us up is very welcome. However, if you’re not sure, I would avoid it. You don’t want to belittle their feelings with a gift that ends up upsetting them rather than making them laugh.

Be very careful with self-help books
There are thousands of self-help books out there and many offer conflicting advice and opinions, leading to feelings of confusion and fear. Others unfortunately do not have a happy ending. So, if you want to send your friend some helpful books, ensure the message is encouraging and positive and that they don’t scaremonger. Most people are likely to have researched their own information including alternative and holistic therapies so respect their decisions and try not to interfere or comment on them.

Speak from the heart
When choosing the words to accompany your gift, speak from heart. Try to avoid meaningless clichés and platitudes such as ‘you’ll be fine’ as it belittles our very real fears. We have some specific Christmas cards that recognise this year might be a struggle for some. Christmas may not be the most wonderful time of the year for your loved one, so make sure you acknowledge that.

Practical and emotional support is maybe the greatest gift of all
Living with a serious illness or depression is hard, it is relentless, exhausting and emotional. Giving a gift does not have to cost the earth, it could be a matter of giving your time. Anything from helping with the school run, walking the dog, offering a lift to hospital to simply offering a sympathetic ear and a shoulder to cry on may be the greatest gift you could give someone this Christmas.

Notes to Editor
Not Another Bunch Of Flowers was set up in 2013 following my cancer diagnosis. Friends and family wanted to send me a little something along with messages of support, but just didn't know what to send – apart from flowers. Not many people know that flowers are banned in most hospitals. This inspired me to set up a site selling gift alternatives to flowers, including cancer care packages, hospital hampers and get well gifts.
We are proud to have raised and donated over £25,000 to the following charities in recognition of the support we received during our diagnoses

Teenage Entrepreneur Writes Amazon Best-Seller

Andre Haykal’s book became an Amazon Bestseller.

What They Won’t Teach You is a new bestselling book about How Young Entrepreneurs Can Find Success Outside of the Classroom.

BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK, USA, November 29, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — Andre Haykal Jr., a 19-year-old college sophomore at Binghamton University, has released his first book, What They Won’t Teach You: How Young Entrepreneurs Can Find Success Outside of the Classroom.

The teenage entrepreneur adopted a system to write his book in less than three months developed by his writing coach, Roger L. Brooks, founder of American Real Media.

“In the first week of January, I challenged Andre to write a book,” Brooks said, recalling Haykal was taken back. “Because he started his own podcast a few months prior, and stayed consistent with it, I knew he held the skillset to write a book,” he added.

At first, Haykal brushed the challenge off as a joke, recalling he told Brooks writing was his biggest weakness. “I told Roger I nearly flunked English class in high school. His response was, ‘You can talk, can’t you?’” Haykal said.

The strategy Brooks uses is to teach his clients to write how they speak. It’s a technique Haykal embraced. After agreeing, the duo met the following day and after only one whiteboard session, Haykal selected his title What They Won’t Teach You, and had his entire book outlined.

Haykal wanted his subject matter to follow along the lines of his passion to teach and inspire student entrepreneurs in becoming the best version of themselves. By writing and publishing this book, Haykal was doing just that, challenging himself to walk-the-walk.

For the next three months, the teenage freshman set an early alarm, writing 2-3 pages each morning — all while maintaining a 3.7 GPA. After completing each chapter, he sent his work to Brooks who held him accountable. Upon reaching his goal of 200 pages, the first draft of his manuscript was completed and Haykal was one step closer to becoming a published author. He now had the daunting task of finding a publisher. Haykal quickly made a business decision to take matters into his own hands. He designed the cover, paid student editors from the university and published the book through Amazon. In its first week of release, What They Won’t Teach You became a best seller.

“The moral of this story is that we can, and should, challenge ourselves to perform at the highest possible level. Sometimes that means doing things against the grain. Yes, he’s in college, I get it. But guess what? He just wrote a best seller and now he’s raised the bar,” Brooks said.

Haykal attributes the success of his first book to striving for greatness, while seeking discomfort, and staying persistent and consistent until his end goal was met.

You can purchase Andre Haykal, Jr.’s book, What They Won’t Teach You, on Amazon for only $9.99.

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, November 29, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — As 2020 approaches, now is a good time for commercial property buyers to check out options for UK investment destinations.

Consorto, the marketplace for European commercial real estate, suggests five British locations that investors should watch out for.

They feature city destinations that are among the most popular with Consorto users and markets that show strong fundamentals including economic growth potential, CRE investment opportunities and competitive returns.

More than half of UK CRE investors are from overseas, as the weakened pound due to Brexit uncertainty has created added value, says Consorto Chief Executive Officer, Philip Verzun.

“Despite uncertainty, the UK is still a preferred destination for global corporate real estate investors and is the number one destination on Consorto. Opportunities to add yield will likely remain the key focus for investors until more clarity is provided on the macroeconomic outlook. While the short-term outlook for the commercial market is arguably volatile, the long-term outlook remains healthy. We have noticed an increased demand for locations outside London, where yields are more attractive.”
